Blurred Words checks both of those boxes!
Blurred Words is a family owned small business that recently opened in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. We made a visit as we were passing and staying in Cheyenne, WY (it was about a 50 minute drive from our hotel).
It is located at 1205 W Elizabeth St, Unit I, Fort Collins.
As soon as you step in, you are greeted by numerous shelves of books, in a wide variety of genres. In addition, the decor is beautiful and inviting.
From the front door, it looks like a quaint little bookshop. That is until you find the door to the hidden Speakeasy tucked away behind the shelves!
The Speakeasy offers mixed drinks, and often has themed nights. (We were bummed to have just missed the Star Wars Night and Mom’s Night Out Event.) They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
If you love to support unique small businesses, this is a must see! It is a great place for a night out, book club, or for some quality reading time.
