Who we are

Hi, I’m Michaela — a military wife, stay-at-home mom, and maker at heart. Creativity has always been a big part of my life, and over the years it’s become both my outlet and my way of connecting with others.

Michaela Makes It grew from my love of sewing and crafting into a space where I can share the things I create with people who appreciate handmade, heartfelt work. One of my favorite projects is making Jelly Roll Rugs — each one stitched with patience, care, and a love for brightening up homes. Alongside rugs, I sew other unique fabric pieces that bring color, comfort, and a personal touch to everyday living.

I’m also excited to soon launch Michaela’s Makers Circle VIP Group, a private online community where makers can come together for encouragement, tutorials, and inspiration. I know firsthand how meaningful it is to have a creative community, and I can’t wait to provide a space where others can feel supported and inspired.

When I’m not sewing, you’ll often find me at the gaming table. I’ve combined my crafting skills with my love of tabletop gaming by offering Warhammer services — including painting recipes, terrain designs, and ready-to-ship pieces that help bring battles and armies to life.

Through everything I make and share, my goal is simple: to spread creativity, encourage others to explore their own passions, and bring a little more beauty and fun into everyday life.
