How to Make Your Own Nativity Silhouette Flameless Candles
When looking for new Christmas decorations, I found some beautiful silhouette candles. I decided to try out making my own, and it was very easy.
Here is what you'll need:
3 set of flameless candles. (The ones I used are no longer available, but these are a good alternative.)
Permanent vinyl. (I purchased mine from Dollar Tree, or I recommend Oracal 651)
Transfer tape or clear contact paper. (This is my favorite transfer tape.)
Vinyl cutting machine. (I prefer Silhouette Cameo.)
First, measure your candles and decide the size you want your images to be. I based the sizes off the height I could get on the shortest candle.
Then create your design using the program of your vinyl cutting machine. (I highly recommend Silhouette Studio.) Next, cut out your design and weed it.
(This Rolling Storage Cart is great for all my vinyl storage.)
Finally, using your transfer tape or clear contact paper, transfer the vinyl designs onto your candles. Press down well, and remove the transfer tape.
And that's it! Now you have your own beautiful silhouette candles. This would be easy to do for decor for any holiday!
